Celebrating Bahraini Women Day BTI hosts Director General of Northern Area Municipality

 In celebration of Bahraini Women Day, Bahrain Training Institute (BTI) organized a special event that was attended by Assistant Undersecretary for Human Resources at the Ministry of Education Dr. Kawthar Al-Moawda, Assistant Undersecretary for Curriculum and Supervision at the Ministry of Education Ms. Ahlam Al –Aamer, members of the Equal Opportunities Committee as well as a number of women in leading positions at Ministry.

The event which celebrated Bahraini women in the legislation and municipal field, was opened by BTI Director-General Dr. Samah Al- Ajjawi who also received Ms. Lamia Al Fadalah, Director General of the Northern Area Municipality.
                                      
During the celebrating event, Dr. Samah Al-Ajjawi congratulated Bahraini women and said that women in Bahrain are holding high leadership positions. She praised the efforts of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, the wife of the King of Bahrain, Hamad bin Isa Al- Khalifa, and Head of the Supreme Council for Women; in supporting Bahraini women.
                                      
”Bahraini women demonstrated their competence in various fields , and showed an exceptional presence in the legislative and municipal councils in particular. Such achievements have been reached due to women conviction that education is the key for actual effective contribution to Bahrain’s development and prosperity” said Dr. Al- Ajjawi, noting keenness of Bahrain Training Institute (BTI) to enhance and develop the skills and expertise of its female employees.

For her part, Ms. Lamia Al Fadalah expressed her happiness and pride with the achievements of Bahraini women in general and of BTI female staff in particular, adding that Bahraini women are giving a great example for women of the region, praising the role of the Supreme Council for Women in strengthening the role of Bahraini women in various areas that contributed to the prosperity and progress of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
