Offering training and Job opportunities at various institutions MOE Under Secretary for Resources and Services opens BTI “Career Week”

On behalf of His Excellency the Minister of Education Dr. Majid bin Ali Al Noaimi, Dr. Mohammed Mubarak Jumaa, Under Secretary for Resources and Services at the Ministry of Education, opened the “Career Week 2019” event, at Bahrain Training Institute (BTI). The event witnessed the participation of major public and private sector institutions and companies in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The MOE Undersecretary for Resources and Services toured the exhibition and viewed the services offered by the participating institutions and companies to introduce BTI trainees and students from higher education institutions or schools, to the needs of the labor market, in addition to informing job seekers about the training and job opportunities available at the labor market.
“We view this event as one of the positive initiatives that aims to align academic and training programs with the growing and changing needs of the labor market by providing opportunities for direct communication for representatives of various educational, training and professional sectors, contributing to building a better professional future for graduates, which eventually reflect on the economic development process in the Kingdom of Bahrain, under its wise leadership” Said Dr. Jumaa who also praised BTI sought efforts to make a success of this important annual event.

From her part, Dr. Samah Al Ajjawi, Director General of Bahrain Training Institute indicated that “various activities are held alongside the Career Week, among these are several seminars and workshops delivered by specialists in many fields related to training”.
“The accompanying events are held with an aim to raise awareness among the participating trainees and students of the labor market, its needs and demands, and to assist them to put their future professional plans. In addition to that many success stories will be presented during these seminars” added Dr. Al Ajjawi.
Among the most notable participants of this year event, are: The Gulf Petrochemical Industries Co. (GPIC), the National Initiative for Agricultural Development (NIAD), Bahrain Petroleum Company (BAPCO), the Economic Development Board (EDB), Tamkeen, YK Almoayed & Sons, Bahrain National Gas Company (BANAGAS), Tatweer Petroleum", the Ministry of Labor and Social Development, as well as the Civil Service Bureau (CSB) in its first participation in BTI Career Week.

The Career Week is opened for visitors daily from 12th until 14th March from 9 to2 p.m. at the Exhibition hall of building 20 at BTI premises in Isa Town.
