Attracted 800 visitors providing 300 opportunities "Careers Week 2019" concluded at the Bahrain Training Institute

Bahrain Training Institute (BTI) concluded the activities of the “Career Week 2019” on Thursday 14th March 2019. The event was held under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Education Dr. Majid bin Ali Al Noaimi, and was inaugurated, on behalf of the Minister, by Dr. Mohammed Mubarak Jumaa, Undersecretary for Resources and Services at the Ministry, on Tuesday, 12th March 2019.
Director General of the Institute D. Samah Al Ajjawi expressed her happiness for the success of the 13th edition of the Career Week exhibition and praised the efforts of its organizing committee, emphasizing that this year exhibition attracted more than 34 major public and private companies and institutions, and succeeded to a large extent in achieving one of its goals by translating BTI training efforts to a reality represented by the companies and institutions’ tendency to recruit BTI graduates and provide them various training and recruitment opportunities, considering them as the employees of choice at the labor market”.
"This year's exhibition provided more than 300 training and recruitment opportunity that target graduate of the Institute in addition to those of other higher education institutes and universities" added Dr. Samah, explaining that “the exhibition attracted more than 800 exhibitors as well as owners of institutions and companies of both the public and private sectors, in addition to job seekers and students of various universities, institutions of higher education and secondary school students”.
Among the most notable participants of this year event, are: The Gulf Petrochemical Industries Co. (GPIC), the National Initiative for Agricultural Development (NIAD), Bahrain Petroleum Company (BAPCO), the Economic Development Board (EDB), Tamkeen, YK Almoayed & Sons, Bahrain National Gas Company (BANAGAS), Tatweer Petroleum", the Ministry of Labor and Social Development, as well as the Civil Service Bureau (CSB) in its first participation in BTI Career Week.
