Director General of Bahrain Training Institute (BTI) Dr. Samah Al Ajjawi received a delegation from Ebrahim K. Kanoo that included Mr. Justin Absil, Head of Recruitment, and Mr. Ali Al Abbad, Senior Executive - Bahrainisation.

The meeting was held upon Kanoo’s donation of training equipment to the Mechanical and Motor Vehicle division at BTI, as part of the company's initiatives to support BTI’s effort towards the development of skilled Bahraini youth in order to meet the renewable needs of various industrial sectors.

During the meeting, Dr. Samah Al Ajjawi expressed her thanks and gratitude to Kanoo company for its efforts in supporting BTI training processes, and praised the fruitful cooperation between the two parties in various training fields as well as the company’s support to BTI in particular and to the vocational training sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain in general. Dr. Samah welcomed the enhancement of the cooperation between the two parties in areas that serve Bahraini youth and meet the needs of the labor market, hence, contribute to the advancement of human development in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

For his part, Mr. Justin Absil said that “Ebrahim K. Kanoo’s contribution comes within the company’s initiatives to support investments in the human capital, which harmonizes with BTI efforts to qualify Bahraini youth to make them the employees of choice at the labor market and meet the different needs of the labor market.

The meeting was attended by Head of BTI Mechanical and Motor Vehicle division Mr. Mohamed Shebu, Head of Institution Training Section (ITS) Ms. Khawla Al Buanain, and Mr. Ahmed Al-Saffar, a trainer at the Mechanical and Motor Vehicle division.

It is noteworthy that Ebrahim K. Kanoo is one of the most important supporters and regular participants of BTI “Career Week” exhibition which held its 13th session recently from 12-14 March 2019.
