The Guidance and Counseling division at Bahrain Training Institute (BTI) organized an awareness seminar on the "Gulf Mandatory Vehicle Specifications" for trainees of the Mechanical and Motor Vehicle Engineering. The seminar was held in cooperation with the Standards and Metrology directorate at the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism. It was presented by Engineer Rashed Isa, Senior Conformity Assessment Specialist at the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, who spoke about censorship on new vehicles at border ports, the most prominent mandatory Gulf specifications for motor vehicle products, Gulf fuel economy poster for cars as well as the latest techniques used by auto factories to reduce fuel consumption.
The seminar is part of an integrated program of events and activities organized by various training divisions at the Institute, to enrich trainees’ knowledge on a number of topics related to their fields of training.
