BTI trainees visit furniture stores at Al Aali Mall

The Arts and Design division at Bahrain Training Institute (BTI) organized a field trip to Al Aali Mall for the Interior Design trainees. The visit was held with an aim to build up trainees’ new paths to innovative and exciting designs and careers and provide them an opportunity to gain exposure and experience within the Interior design industry. The trainees were accompanied by Trainers Ms. Sarah Buhmaid and Ms. Khawla BoKhamas who confirmed that such visits “encourage trainees to search for new paths of interior design and as motivated their thinking outside the boundaries of training classes, and give them a closer look to the Interior Design industry. Commenting on the visit, Head of Art and Design Ms. Saru Singh said "the true value of training lies in being exposed to real experiences outside classes, which gives them advanced skills and inspire them”.During the visit, trainees visited several furniture stores, explored different materials, color schemes, lightings and furniture styles and layouts. Following the visit, the trainees applied the knowledge they received into 3D interior designs using AutoCAD porgram.
