BTI Trainees' Activities division organizes a "Waste Recycling" workshop

The Trainees Activities division at Bahrain Training Institute (BTI) organized a three-day workshop on “Environmental waste, clothing, papers and notebooks recycling” attended by trainees from different programs. The workshop was facilitated by Ms. Fatema Al Anasari, a Specialist at the division.
Commenting on the workshop, Head of Trainee Activities division, Dr. Suhair Al Muhannadi said “this workshop is organized with the aim of introducing trainees to ways or recycling environmental waste to make it reusable and to enlighten them of the importance of utilizing waste to preserve the environment from the accumulation of waste, especially the non-degradable.
The workshop introduced the participants to the importance of preserving consumables and to the best ways of recycling them in order to achieve the goal of the reform project in sustainable development.
In addition to that, participants were guided on the how-to calculate the time spent by some products to biodegrade, such as plastic, they were also introduced to some methods of recycling environmental waste.
It is worth mentioning that this event is one of the activities organized by the Trainees Activities division at BTI, as part of its annual plan for extra-curricular activities for the training year 2019-2020. The aim of these activities is to hone trainees’ personal skills in various aspects. Trainees participating in these activities are granted an Acredit, which equals 15 credits and is added to the trainee's GPA.
