Photography workshop in BTI with the international photographer Stefan Lindeque

Bahrain training institute’s Art & Design Division hosted two days Photography Workshop with the professional international photographer Stefan Lindeque.

Stefan Lindeque is a Dubai based Editorial Photographer, currently working within the Gulf News portfolio of magazines which includes: The Weekly Actuality Title Friday, Women’s Aquarius, Men’s Title Alpha, Interior Design Publication, Inside Out and Wheels and The Weekly Motoring Journal.
The event was Co-Organized and Sponsored by Canon Middle East, represented by Mr. Ashish Nagar (Marketing Manager) and International Agencies Co. Ltd. represented by Mr. Sam C.R (Consultant- Photography)


The workshop was planned for two days; on the first day focus was on food photography techniques where Stefan discussed about various preparations, angle, lighting, editing, and processes when capturing food. Workshop was interactive in nature as attendees were given opportunity to capture pictures of pastries prepared and sponsored by Sugar Pie Bakery.


Conversely, the Second day workshop was based on product photography. Stefan shared his knowledge in context to use of gears and equipment needed for product shoot along with his experience in regard to use of various lighting angles & techniques, where participants were able to click pictures around a tabletop.
Following the end of this workshop, a photography competition was organized with an aim to motivate participants. Looking at the success of the event more such intensive, full-day photography workshops are being planned by Art & Design Division in coming December 2015
