BTI strengthens partnership with Bapco

Bahrain Training Institute and Bahrain Petroleum Company (Bapco) agreed to cooperate in the implementation of programmes that will develop the skills of the young Bahrainis. In the meeting conducted at the institute, Dr. Fawzi Al Jowder commended Bapco for its role in the development of the nation’s economy. He stressed the importance of BTI’s partnership with public and private entities in order to address the labour market needs. “BTI is focused on refining the technical skills of the young Bahrainis for them to be ready to join the industry,” he added. Bapco’s representatives Mr. Yousef Falah, employment specialist; Mr. Osama Al-Hamad, training specialist; and and Ms. Sarah El Hadji, management of training professor were informed of the current projects, achievements, training programmes, services, and latest facilities of the institute. Mr. Osama Al-Hamad expressed willingness for the joint undertaking of both parties. He emphasized that technical and vocational as well as academic education are significant and Bapco is prepared to support any development projects of BTI. Bapco team visited the different facilities of BTI.
