Second Agricultural Educational Exhibition at BTI

Bahrain Training Institute (BTI) successfully concluded the activities of the Second Agricultural Educational Exhibition on December 7th, 2017. The exhibition was held under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Education Dr. Majid bin Ali Al-Noaimi, under the theme (sustainable Agriculture Protects Earth and life). The event witnessed the participation of 26 schools, higher education institutions from the public and private sectors in addition to farmers.

The three-day exhibition presented many agricultural projects, in addition to lectures and seminars on various agricultural topics. These were presented by BTI specialists accompanied by lecturers and specialists from the University of Bahrain and the Arabian Gulf University.

Participants of the exhibition praised its organization considering it a perfect opportunity to promote communication between governmental organizations and the agriculture sector, to exchange knowledge and experiences between participants and to view innovations of the agriculture sector.

At the end of the exhibition, BTI Acting Director- General Dr. Samah Ajjawi thanked sponsors of the event and honoured their representatives; these were the National Initiative for Agricultural Development, Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (GPIC), Electricity and Water Authority and Al- Ayyam Newspaper which was also the media sponsor of the event.

Dr. Samah also honoured winners of the best stand competition and submit certificates of appreciation to other participants of the exhibition.
